I graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering and a minor in bioengineering, and from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government with a Masters in Public Policy. I have worked as a medical device designer, a space policy writer, a public health consultant, a Mars robotics engineer, a Harvard University leadership instructor, and a bartender in Guatemala. I'm currently a Mission Integration Engineer at SpaceX where I manage the integration of NASA satellites onto our rockets, and moonlight as the co-host of our live launch webcasts. In my spare time I write (true) stories, give talks about the power of STEM education, and work on ways to make the world more empathetic and just.
